Faculty and students at the summer school
The V Ege Biennial International Neuroscience Graduate Summer School took place in İzmir, Turkey, June 29-July 4, 2009. As in previous years, the School was directed by Gönül Peker and Reha Erzurumlu. The faculty of EGE-BINGSS has always been international; but for the first time this year, international student participation was also made possible. Excellent students from different parts of Turkey, as well as from Greece, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Romania and Tunisia, attended and more than 20 lecturers, some recognized leading neuroscientists, participated in the school.
